In my time at UAA, I've obtained grant and gift funding of over $250,000. Most of those funds were project-based for projects I've administered. I've also administered an additional $210,000 project-based gift fund. In addition, I've worked with several of our collection donors to set up forthcoming estate gifts in support of collections.

 

  • 2015: Ruth Schmidt papers project. Gift of Schmidt estate. Gift amount: $3,469.00.
  • 2009-2015: Donations: other researcher and collection donor gifts. Gift amount total: ~$6,000.
  • 2012: 1964 Earthquake: resources access project grant. Alaska State Library/IMLS Interlibrary Cooperation Grant for FY2013 and FY2014. Award amount: $20066.
  • 2011: Pomeroy papers access grant. Alaska State Library/IMLS Interlibrary Cooperation Grant for FY2012. Award amount: $13145.
  • 2011: Strohmeyer papers project. Gift of Sylvia Broady. Gift amount: $2,500.00.
  • 2010-ongoing: Walter Hickel papers project. Gift of Ermalee Hickel. Gift amount: $180,000.00 ($30,000/year, 6 year period.)
  • 2010-2011: Lawrence Eastman photographs digitization evaluation project. Alaska State Library/IMLS Interlibrary Cooperation Grant for FY2011. Award amount: $10212.
  • 2010: Alice E. Brown papers access project. Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) Foundation.  Award amount: $4271
  • 2009: Alan May Aleutian Expedition photographs digitization project. Alaska State Library/IMLS Interlibrary Cooperation Grant for FY2010.  Award amount: $6240.
  • 2008: Edwin Glenn collection digitization project. Alaska State Library/IMLS Interlibrary Cooperation Grant for FY2009.  Award amount: $6750.
  • 2008: Alaska Boundary Maps digitization project. Tower Endowment for Canadian Studies funding for FY2008-2009. Award amount: $2,500.
  • 2007-ongoing: Atwood family papers project. Atwood Foundation. Gift amount: ~$210,000.00. Project administrator only.
  • 2004: Archival Collections Cataloging project. Alaska State Library/IMLS Interlibrary Cooperation Grant for FY2005.  Award amount: $13,052.
