I was born in the Philippines but moved to Anchorage, Alaska when I was five years old so I consider it my home. My first job was as a Summer Clerk with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). 

I've gained professional experience through workng at the UAA Career Exploration & Services (formerly known as Career Services Center) since May 2008. As the Workforce and Career Development Coordinator/Employer Relations Specialist, I am responsible for managing the various career fairs and numerous on-campus recruiting events. I help inform students, alumni, and employers of the resources that the department provides. I aim to provide resources and opportunities for job seekers to gain employment and achieve their career goals and for employers to connect with the most qualified and best fitting applicants for their job positions. 

Hobbies: Traveling, reading mystery novels, hiking with friends, watching/attending Sporting Kansas City soccer games with my husband, and spending time with our two dogs.
