5 Facts About Me

• I am an experienced Instructional Designer and college instructor.  Collaboratively working with faculty and students gives me purpose and fuels my creative nature.  I'm a Deweyite and have  been dubbed the Wizard of Woz.
  
  
• In my blog, Lifting The Learning, I update educators on the use of social media and emerging technologies that facilitate self-determinined learning behaviors in the classroom.
  

• I worked in broadcast news and cable community access television.  The skills I developed in the television industry have helped me as an instructional designer and instructor.
  
  
• My joys in life are my 3 children and 7 grandchildren.  I learn from them and experience life at its best when I am with them.

• Prodigious is my favorite word.  I ran my first 5K with my daughter, Martha Ann, at the Columbus Hot Chocolate Run.  It was a prodigious moment in my life!
