I was born and raised in Alaska. I attended Chugiak High School where my favorite subjects were choir, dance, and literature. I graduated in May, 2008. For my undergraduate degree, I attended the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). It took me a year or two to find my niche, but I eventually realized that I had been happiest when studying communication and language arts. In the spring of 2013, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English Education with a minor in Communication.

While pursuing my Bachelor's Degree, I discovered the field of Speech-Language Pathology and immediately knew this was my calling. I attended East Carolina University and graduated with my Masters of Science in Communication Science and Speech Disorders in July 2020. I love all aspects of this field, but my passion lies most in working in the outpatient setting with neurodiverse populations.

In my spare time I enjoy writing, dancing, singing, studying languages, and traveling.
