INBRE Faculty and Postdoc Travel Grants
Alaska INBRE Faculty/Postdoc Travel Awards are designed to provide UA faculty and/or postdoctoral fellows (postdocs) an opportunity to present their research, engage with mentors, and/or obtain technical training in science related to the specific aims of the Alaska INBRE Program. Travel may be to conferences, workshops, trainings, or other academic settings that allow faculty/postdocs to present their research, interact with other scientists in their field of research, or learn new research methods.
Award Amount: Travel support not to exceed $2000
Submission Deadline: 15th of the month
Society for the Study of Evolution
The Society for the Study of Evolution offers grants for researchers to travel to the annual meeting as well as grants to host symposia within the US and Internationally.
The NPA has a funding program to ensure the broadest possible representation of postdoctoral scholars at the Annual Meetings.
Society of Experimental Biology (SEB)
SEB members have access to the Company of Biologists travel grants aiming at supporting conference attendance, research trips and lab visits but not limited to these purposes. They have also access to travels grants to attend the SEB annual meeting. Besides, the SEB sponsors a 4 year PhD studentship each year in either animal, plant or cell biology.
