Xavier Mason

 

Xavier is a  recent graduate of UAA. He earned a double major in Management and Marketing graduating with leadership and academic honors has a passion for social entrepreneurship and learning. He was selected as a Truman Finalist and is a Founding Father of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. 

 

Outside of his college campus 

Xavier has founded three organizations—HandMade, VisualAid, and CurrentEnergy—that benefit underprivileged people in Alaska and Africa. An avid traveler, Xavier has studied abroad at Charles University in Prague, learning about different philosophies of leadership, and aboard ship through the University of Virginia’s Semester at Sea program,

 

studying the effects of globalization.

Xavier also sits as President of the NAACP Youth Council, serves on the Membership Committee of the Alaska World Affairs Council, board member of Chessed Alaska and a protégé in the University of Alaska Anchorage’s Leadership Fellows Program amongst many others.
