Is an article done by the Green & Gold News at UAA profiling Xavier's beginnings as a freshman to becoming the 2015 Spring Commencement speaker.

"Back in high school, Xavier Mason kept to himself. He played videogames, didn’t get involved in school activities, didn’t push himself to achieve. “I was quiet and introverted,” he said. “I didn’t have a lot of friends. I really kept to myself.”

Four years later, Mason is preparing for a spotlight role: delivering the student speaker address for his graduating class at the 2015 Spring Commencement, May 3 at the Alaska Airlines Center."
